The Second Wedding in January
Winter Wedding #2
TIP 1: What is the duration of the event? This should inform how you dress for the day.
From the invite I knew this wedding was going to be an all day/all night affair so I wanted to keep my look simple, comfortable and elegant. First I started off with this Isabel Lu Maxi (I found it for $9 yes, nine bucks.) All of the detailing gave the dress a Grecian style so I just played that up.
This was our second wedding in January so I knew it would still be cooler out. Months earlier I scored this faux fur coat at a thrift store. I ended up throwing it on my shoulders to stay warm.
And because I knew it was going to be an all day affair the last thing I wanted to futz with was my hair. This fun rhinestone headband helped play up the Grecian detailing of the dress and also made it easy to create a no fuss/no muss hairstyle.
The neckline of the dress was low so I wore a long Topaz necklace and completed the look with a cocktail ring, rhinestone earrings and...
as always, I had my most prized accessory at my side.
